Today Madison and I are going to continue making our paper planes, Madison is going to finish making the large paper planes and I will be making the smaller paper planes. We are also going to plan out our paper mache moon and sun. We will then start making those as soon as we have the balloons required.

year 8 challenge #6 traming

Monday morning I woke up excited to go tramping at Mikonui flats, we got to school and carried my bag to the classroom Mr S-W checked our packs and we added in our tent parts, we organised our car groups I was with Catarina, Grace c and Grace's mum fran drove us there. One of my favourite parts was doing the 20-minute solo which is when we sit alone in the bush away from all the tents and we only have paper, pencil and a torch and we have to sit there for twenty minutes and write or drawing whatever we like or you can just sit there and think, my least favourite part was probably getting pulled under water by Jayden in the river crossing and getting my face smashed into a rock and having my nose bleed for an hour, overall it was a very fun experience and I hope to do it again one day, can't wait for the next challenge.

Mad lib theater

This week have been working on our mad libs.

I think that mad libs a good way to understand what verb,nouns,adjectives etc. 

our fist mad lib was a titanic scene Mr S-W took out some of the words in the script and we put words into the script without looking at  the script so it's funnier. 

are now making our own script Reed and I are doing a scene from "clueless" I can't wait to act it out and hopefully make more mad libs.

challenge #5

on Tuesday I woke up so excited to go skiing we got to school and got into our cars and started our 5th challenge I was in a car with Mr. S-W, Alyssa, Grace W and Levi it was one of the most entertaining car trips I have ever been in we covered nearly topic from brothers to dead bunnies

we got to the gear lift and put all our bags on the gear lift we drove up to the car park and got all our day pack and started our walk before this I had never been skiing or been to temple basin  so I thought it was going to be a walk up a hill but when we got there I realised that it was a very long walk up a mountain it took about an hour to get up to the cabin when we got there we put all our stuff into our cabins and had lunch we got our ski boots and ski's, we put on one of our skis and walked around with one on then  we put on both which is where it went wrong I fell backwards down a hill and bailey did the same thing. Me and bailey both got our skis stuck in the same hole so I started to hate skiing because I couldn't ski the next day we played in the snow/ice because it was too hard to ski on we had a snowball fight and I lost and ended up with ice burn down my back we started to ski when the ice melted more the more experienced skiers had to help the beginners Reed helped me do the pizza/snowplough and I started to like skiing the last day we got up and packed all our stuff and walked down to the gear lift we ski for 2.30 hours then we walked down the mountain overall it was an amazing experience

can't wait for the next challenge BRING IT ON!!!!!!!!!!!
